structure and one rivalry that will continue to benefit is between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers. With the Rams moving back to California Customized Los Angeles Rams Jerseys , this matchup has only been reinvigorated. Here are some of the players to lookout for.RB Matt BreidaWith QB Jimmy Garoppolo out for the season, the 49ers have leaned a bit more on the running game. The biggest beneficiary of that is Matt Breida, a second year player out of Georgia Southern. Breida boasts a 6.8 yard per carry average and has 430 yards through six games (even while splitting carries with Alfred Morris). Breida has scored three touchdowns (two via ground and one through the air) and will continue to help in the passing game as well, evident by his 11 catches so far this season. The Rams defense may have their hands full with this speedy back.WR Marquise GoodwinSpeaking of speed, there are few players as fast as former Olympian Marquise Goodwin. Goodwin had his best game of the season last week as he caught four passes for 126 yards and two long touchdowns. With CB Aqib Talib still out and Marcus Peters nursing some injuries, the Rams will have to defend the deep ball collectively and hopefully prevent big plays for Goodwin.LB Reuben FosterOne of the first round picks for the 49ers in 2017, Foster has played well in his four games for 2018. Coming off his best game of the season with nine tackles against Green Bay, the young player looks to stop RB Todd Gurley. TE George KittleThe leading pass catcher for the 49ers is a tight end. The second leading pass catcher for the 49ers is a fullback. Kittle is building off a surprising rookie year in which he caught 43 passes for 515 yards. This season so far in six games Kittle has caught 27 passes for 429 (!!!!) yards. The Rams have struggled to cover the tight end this year so this will likely be a matchup the Rams have to focus on.EDGE DeForest BucknerAfter starting off the year with a monster game, Buckner has been relatively quiet. For the year, Buckner has 23 total tackles with 4.5 sacks. Buckner is versatile moving all across the defensive front lining up against the interior OL all the way out to outside the tight end. Look for the Rams OL to accept the challenge in limiting Buckner. 1st QuarterRams defer. Saints will receive to start. Some sloppy tackling made things pretty easy overall on that first drive, though the Rams did put the Saints in a fourth down situation. Long game!Rams 0 , Saints 7Great response from the offensive line to power RB Todd Gurley into the end zone after an earlier reception by TE Tyler Higbee carved up a ton of field.Rams 7, Saints 7And another long drive gets the Saints a touchdown. Rams had them in 3rd and 8, but RB Alvin Kamara burned S Lamarcus Joyner for the TD reception.Rams 7, Saints 142nd QuarterAnd the Rams respond. WR Brandin Cooks, WR Robert Woods, and the finishing touch from Cooks.Rams 14, Saints 14FUMBLE! EDGE Samson Ebukam pops it out of RB Mark Ingram’s clutches! Huge opportunity for Rams now.Saints get the stop. Rams K Greg Zuerlein on to kick.FAKE! P Johnny Hekker runs for it and appeared to extend the ball for the first down, but the spot was short. Rams HC Sean McVay throws the challenge flag, and this should get overturned.Wow. The spot stands. I thought there was one angle that showed clearly that when Hekk’s knee was down that he extended the nose of the ball past the first down marker...And the Saints make the most of the turnover on downs. March down and push through a third down pass to take the lead.Rams 14, Saints 21Rams get in field goal position, but K Greg Zuerlein misses from 51. Good field position now for Saints that clearly don’t need it.Playcalls rip up the Rams’ D. 3rd and 6 Los Angeles Rams T-Shirt , and they isolate Barron to get a first. And then a touchdown to draw the defense on the playaction.Rams 14, Saints 28And then a tough one. Goff tries to squeeze it into a tight window, but LB Alex Anzalone with some fantastic hands to hold onto an interception. And the Saints march right down to punch it in before the half.Rams 14, Saints 35Phew. Rams get a late field goal to make it an 18-point game, but the Rams were pushed to the limit that half. Time to see what they’re made of...Rams 17, Saints 35Pre-gameShould be a fantastic game today as the Los Angeles Rams are taking on the New Orleans Saints in Week 9 in a battle of the NFC’s best to this point.Eager to see how things develop early compared to last week’s first half performance against the Green Bay Packers.InactivesDL Sebastian Joseph-DayRB John KellyTE Johnny MundtDL Tanzel SmartCB Darious WilliamsWR Nick WilliamsLB Trevon YoungSo WR Cooper Kupp is indeed able to go. With Williams inactive and RB Justin Davis on the 46-man today, waiving RG Jamon Brown seems an even more interesting decision now with just seven OL for gameday. Here’s the Saints’:OL Will ClappDE Marcus DavenportDB J.T.
